“The Story in our Windows”

“Birth, Ministry, Teachings, Death and Resurrection” are the five words I use to teach the sanctuary windows to VBS children.  Want to know more?

Join us at noon in September, October and November to explore the story more fully.  Bring a lunch if you wish.

On Wednesday, September 14 we explore the “Ministry” window.  While the “Birth” window showed us how the light of Christ radiates out to the world, the “Ministry” window balances earthly and heavenly images to show us how all things point to Christ.  The abbreviation for Jesus is in the middle, and through the various images we are ultimately invited to answer Jesus’ question: “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15)
